Weekly Production Log 2
This week I had pitched my idea to the class on Powerpoint and explained thoroughly all the details and conventions I will have in the actual music video itself. I had spoken about many things step by step so that my idea was clear to everyone and they'd be able to understand the story behind the music video (as it is narrative) from the artist and directors point of view. I also talked about inspiration and ideas I got from other music videos and showed this on the powerpoint. In terms of characters identity I wanted to represent the character matching with the genre so that it is easily noticeable to audiences who watch it. I also filmed a pitch review so the class were able to ask questions on anything they wanted to know in further detail or if they had any criticism on my idea. I answered questions on the story behind the music video as some students were confused on certain parts of it but all was made clear when I had answered. The pitch feedback didn't take up much time which is a good sign as the less feedback given the more clear I was and the more I covered in the actual pitch itself.
